Happy Birthday Cory!

My sweet hubby had a birthday, and I just want to tell him publicly how much I love him. He is such a good husband and daddy. He takes really good care of us and has a heart of gold.

We had soccer practice the night of his birthday, so I got some of that silly string for all of the kids and after practice they all attacked him with the string- I thought it was great, the kids thought it was too- I don't know about Cory...

I love you!!!

Cruise

We went on a cruise.... we went from Florida to Key West, then to Cozumel, and then Belize. It was fabulous! The food was great (maybe too great, I brought some home on my hips), the company was great, it was a lot of fun. We took Carson and Tyson and left Jaxon at home with Nana, THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM!!! The pictures are a little out of order, but oh well!

This is a picture in Belize at some Mayan ruins. Our way back down.

This is the boat ride we went on to get to and from the ruins. If you have ever been on that Jungle river ride at Disneyland- it was like that- but faster! I love Tysons face in this picture.

Roger and Colleen after dinner one night.

The kids LOVED going to the kids club they had on the ship. They dressed up like pirates one night and did a parade through the ship.

Scott, Jamie and Jaimee! On the ship.

This is Cory in Key West, Florida. That thing behind his head marks the southernmost point of the United States.

We rented these golf cart type vehicles to ride around the island, they were fun!

A beach on Key West.

This is a place we ate at, it was a fish place. They let the kids get chalk and write on anything they wanted to.

This was our ship, Enchantment of the Sea.

They had this bungee jumping thing on top of the ship. This is Cory doing it- it was so fun! It was like you were on top of the world, you could see only ocean in every direction.

This is us out on the deck at sunset after dinner one night, BLISSFULL.

This is when we were at Cozumel going out on a boat to go snorkeling, I was so happy- but you can't really tell :)

Ellie and Cole were so brave!

Carson and Tyson snorkeled too!
After we snorkeled, we went to a private beach with all of these fun things out in the water, slides, a climbing mountain, kayaks. FUN, FUN, FUN

Carson held a monkey!

In Cozumel, a big storm rolled in, another cruise ship got too close and CRASHED into our ship!
They wouldn't let us on the ship, we were in torrential rain and stranded on the dock with a bunch of drunk people and panic-y old people. That part was not so fun.

Cute Tyson and his Cozumel souvenir at dinner.

We had a great trip!

September

Tyson's first day of Preschool

He was a little nervous and he did not want me to take his picture when we got to his school.

But he did let me take his picture before we left, what a handsome little man! He is always so excited to show me what he did after school, we can't leave the driveway until he has shown me EVERYTHING he did that day and told me all about it.

We went on a hike to Mt. Charleston with some friends. It was a great day up there, nice to get out of the heat, and it's only about 30 minutes away from our house.

This is Tyson and his little friend Hailey. I thought this was sooo cute. I hope they get married :)
She is so cute and has GREAT parents whom we love.
In about 20 years of course...

Jaxon got invited to his first birthday party... it was a puppy party. How cute is he!?!!!! And what a cute idea for a party!

August

Happy Birthday Jaxon!

My BABY is now 2! That went by fast. He got some cars ~ his favorite thing, always has one in each hand ~ and some clothes.

I made him a CAR cake. I don't know why I think that just because I watch all of those cake decorating shows on TV that it makes me capable of making a decent looking theme cake. Oh well, the kids liked it, so that is all that matters, right?

We celebrated by having some friends over and having a little swim party.

Carson's first day of 1st grade.
My handsome boy is gone all day now. Of course his favorite part of school is lunch. I used to pack his lunch and then he saw what the lunch ladies were serving, and he had to have it!

He also played basketball over the summer. Let's just say it was not his favorite thing. But maybe when he is a little older, has some friends on his team, he will like it better. He started to catch on to the game towards the end of the season. The games were exciting- the parents take 6 year old basketball pretty seriously.

Way to go Crickets!
