Soccer mom

Go Sharks! That's the name of Carsons soccer team. He had a game today, they really are quite fun to watch. Carson scored 2 goals!

And his coach is fun to watch too, he is so handsome... I managed to sneak a picture of him too...

Coach Cory.

Of course snacks at the end of the game are a favorite part of the whole soccer experience.
And the Sharks are currently undefeated...............Way to go SHARKS!!!

I'm a lucky mom!

I have the sweetest boys. Carson just recently made me breakast in bed, it was so cute.

He was so proud that he made it all by himself. It is dry toast with salt on it.......yummy. But the fact that he thought of it all by himself and just did it is priceless. Those are the kind of moments that I think you live for as a mom. Tyson and Carson often tell me that I am beautiful, even when I don't feel very beautiful. And Jaxon is always so happy to see me, the smile that he gets on his face when he sees me makes my heart get two sizes bigger. And then don't even get me started on the bear hug he gives me when I pick him up, every time. I LOVE it!!! Okay, I need a tissue. Writing this made me all teary.

Jaxon is walking!

Don't you just love when babies start walking! They are all wobbly and you hold your breath hoping they don't fall, and they reach for you with their arms outstretched. I love it. So I captured a little moment of him walking this morning on video, this is the farthest he has gone so far!

I know what you are thinking, he is just so darn cute! I know...because that's what I thought too!

Carson, the scientist.

This is Carson doing a science experiment (making bath fizzies), wearing his protective eyewear (swim goggles).
It was so dang cute, you know how sometimes you are laughing hysterically on the inside at your kids, but you don't let them know or else they might stop the cute thing they are doing? This was one of those times.
I am running out of "science experiments", so if anyone has any good ideas that a 5 year old can do, please let me know. We have already made a paper mache volcano, and then made it erupt. We have constructed 2 different robots. He has made an Incredible Hulk potion, and his next feat is a potion that will cure baldness. I love that he is so curious...it keeps life interesting, and fun!

Whew! What a week!

We have had a lot going on in the last week and a half, so much that I should be doing laundry right now, but this is so much more fun! My first born started kindergarten this last week. He is doing great! He loves it and can't wait to do science experiments. My baby had his first birthday, and Tyson started preschool.
This is slithers the snake, Jaxons birthday cake. Thank you to Robyn for the inspiration!
Nana also visited us this weekend. We had lots of fun with her! Thanks for coming Mom!
Jaxons little birthday party. He is the cutest little thing! He is not walking yet, but he has a mean crawl that will get him where he wants to go fast! And if he ever sees that someone has left a gate open, you can hear him giggle and turn on the turbo-crawl to get through the open gate before mom sees and ruins all the fun of climbing the stairs by himself.
This was Tyson today on his first day of school, he wasn't so sure about everything at first but he did great and had a lot of fun.
Carson looking handsome on his first day of school with his Batman backpack.
That's his teacher, Mrs. Evans. And that is his classroom. He had no trouble going to school. I explained to him on the Friday before at the kindergarten orientation that this is where he would be coming everyday and that I would drop him off and then come back and pick him up in a couple of hours. After we were there a little while and he was so busy playing with his friends, he looked at me and said "I thought you said you were leaving, mom", kind of with a perturbed look on his face. So I knew on Monday how excited he was, and I was so excited for him, I didn't even cry.
Happy birthday Jax!

Yellowstone

We just recently went on a trip to Yellowstone. It was some great family time! The pictures are a bit out of order, but I will figure this whole blog thing out hopefully sooner than later and it will be more smooth in the future. But until then... we stopped at Bear World on our way home from Yellowstone.

There was a petting zoo, little Jax wasn't too sure about the goats.
This gigantic chipmunk was on the boardwalk at Old Faithful.

The kids definitly thought the chipmunk was more entertaining than seeing Old Faithful...again.
Tyson loved feeding the animals at the petting zoo.

My handsome boys, and man.

Grandpa Jeep gave us a bag of powdered doughnuts, and Tyson ate the whole bag. Oh well, we were on vacation...and he was very happy.

The boys had a ball, they ran a lot and got dirty a lot. It was nice to be in the pine trees and in some cooler temperatures for a change.
