These were some monsterish snacks I made for Carsons class party- Monster eyeballs (carrots, cream cheese and olives), monster fingers (string cheese, green pepper), and spider crackers. I thought they would be a big hit because I couldn't keep my kids away from them at home, I forget that there are a lot of kids out there that won't touch food that has a vegetable on or in it. That was the scariest moment of my Halloween my friends! Seeing kids turn up their nose to REAL food. Something has to be done. We need a new reality show in America and it should be called- Save the children from obesity and illness- mission: eat your vegetables and like it!
Cory as a pirate at the ward trunk or treat.
My little man with dreds!
Hey, he let me take this picture...he had to know what I would do with it :)

Cute stuff! That pic of Cory is good! Ha Ha! And I couldn't agree with you more about the TV show about teaching kids to eat better... only problem is that parents still don't think they're doing anything wrong letting their kids eat whatever they want! Plus, there might be a serious shortage of food if everyone fed their kids as many vegetables as we do!
Hi Jaimee,
Thanks for your sweet comment on my menu mondays! I am happy to hear from someone who feels the same as me about getting back to whole foods for our kids. By the way--your boys are darling! Looks like you are a Mom of all boys too! And i had to laugh about your reality show idea because it ia happening! Have you heard that Jamie Oliver is going to the "fattest" city in America and starting a "food revolution" I think it starts this weekend. Anyway, thanks for your comment and also I would love to hear what healthy recipes your family has liked! Take care!
